Each year the ATA elects Members of distinction into the College of Fellows. Election to the ATA College of Fellows recognizes individuals and organizations for their significant achievements in telehealth, service to the general telehealth community, and service to ATA.
To be considered for election to Fellowship, the following requirements must be met:
- A minimum of eight years of membership in the ATA
- Significant contributions to the field of telehealth
- Service to the ATA (e.g., SIG/Chapter leadership, SIG/Chapter Member, or Committee membership).
Applicants can be either by nomination or by self-nomination. All nominations will be reviewed by a Fellowship Committee comprised of existing ATA Fellows. Election to the ATA College of Fellows is a lifelong appointment.
Each class of ATA Fellows is announced at ATA’s Annual Conference and Expo.
The identity of the applicants and all application materials will be kept confidential by the ATA Office and Board-designated Fellowship Committee. Applicants who are not selected may reapply.
At the Annual Meeting, inducted Fellows will receive a plaque noting their accomplishment and an “FATA” lapel pin. New Fellows will also be listed on the ATA website along with the year they were inducted.
